Juba Glass

Josh Bonazza lives in Eugene, Oregon and works out of his home studio. As a child growing up in upstate New York, he remembers trying to melt glass in a campfire so that he could see what it was made from.

In 1995 at the age of 22, he moved to the west coast and set about studying the art of glass. Always looking to hone his skills and learn about creating glass art, he has studied with several world-class contemporary glass artists at the Eugene Glass School, where he has also served as a volunteer.

Music has been another constant interest to Josh, he began playing the guitar at age 12 and still plays daily today. His music interests include blues, jazz, funk, rock, and alternative. In his daily glass studio routine, he often takes a break from the torch by jamming out on the guitar and letting his creativity fly in a different way.
