What's in a bead ?

All Juba Glass beads are made from borosilicate (boro) glass, and are properly annealed in the kiln for strength.
Borosilicate glass (boro) has a color-changing quality which is dependent upon the light it is viewed in. Our photos were taken in bright indoor light. Take your boro beads into the sunlight to see them at their most brilliant.
Mandrel size is 3/32, and beads are drilled with a Dremel tool to remove excess bead release.
